As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen many beautiful weddings, but there’s something extra special about a home wedding. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely couple’s intimate wedding at their beautiful home in Buckinghamshire. It was a day filled with love, joy, and wonderful memories.
The couple decided to keep things intimate, celebrating their love in the cozy surroundings of their own home. The house had so many charming spots, perfect for our pre-ceremony photoshoot. They didn't mind seeing each other before the ceremony, which allowed us to capture some truly stunning moments in the morning light.
As guests arrived, the garden was transformed into a gorgeous wedding venue. The florist (Sorcha Herbert ) did an amazing job with the flowers, and they had rented elegant chairs to create a beautiful setup. The ceremony was heartwarming, with the couple exchanging vows surrounded by their closest family and friends.
After the ceremony, we took group photos, capturing the love and joy shared among the guests. The speeches that followed were touching, filled with heartfelt messages and laughter. The wedding cake, made by a talented local baker (Treat Me Cakes - Monika Rutter ), was both a visual and a tasty delight.
Reflecting on the day, I am so grateful to have been a part of such a special celebration. The warmth and love from the couple and their guests made it an unforgettable experience.
